- This machine in particular is so special because of its strength curve. Many chest machines get too heavy at the top and don’t allow for that strain at the last 1/3 of the press. That last 1/3 of the the press is precisely where the chest is working hardest. This machine creeps along to lockout, converging slightly inwards to put more emphasis on the chest and less on the shoulders (a great treat for people with shitty shoulders). In one word this machine is smooth. Tension starts on the chest from the first push, and stays on the chest to completion.
